Intellectual Property & NDA

 

Intellectual Property rules are created to encourage creative thinking and innovation by ensuring that all imaginative and lateral thinkers are rewarded for their hard work. The primary areas in which Intellectual Property works are: copyrights, patents, and trademarks. These areas of law help set the parameters for what can be done with creative work, source code, inventions, names, logos, phrases, etc., used by businesses and organizations.

 

Here at SocialLoft we understand and always follow intellectual property regulations to protect interest of our customers. With respect to our clients we agree that:

“All work products developed solely by our team or in conjunction with others in connection with the performance of services pursuant to agreement with customer is the sole property of customer, and SocialLoft shall retain no ownership, interest and rights (including intellectual property rights) therein after such property has been tested, accepted and paid for in full measure by the customer.

 

The Customer, its successors and its trustees, shall have the right to obtain and hold in its or their own name(s) all copyright registrations and other evidence of rights that may be available for deliverables and works of authorship. In addition, SocialLoft hereby conveys, transfers, and assigns to customer all rights in and to any invention or discovery embodied in any deliverable created by SocialLoft for customer hereunder”. © Copy of material included into our usual Contract.

 

Other categories of intellectual property which do not have special statutory protection include confidential information and trade secrets. These are protected by the action for breach of confidence and signed by SocialLoft Non-Disclosure Agreement.

The one of main things in business is reputation and goodwill and we can guarantee the safeguarding of all your ideas in-house even without signing of any agreements.

Money Back Guarantee

 

Refunds are happily granted if and only if all the following 3 requirements are met:

+ Refund is requested within 7 days of original purchase

+ Essential functions of the product do not work on your site

+ Purchased Product cannot be properly installed on your social website (We need ftp and site admin account info to verify this if the purchased project is installed by you or other developers but it does not work properly)

Otherwise, all sales are final.

 

Support & Warranty

 

Project support and warranties are an integral part of our IT solutions. We provide 1 month support period free of charge for bug fixing after completion of the project. All expected works and implied warranties for the SocialLoft projects include, but are not limited to, the warranties of quality and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the above period.

 

The warranty becomes effective from the date of final delivery of any project. In the event that there is a delay in the response and the return of feedback after finishing of the warranty period provided by the SocialLoft Team, we cannot guaranty immediate bug fixes and would consider all feedbacks as change requests. Any change requests (that are not the bugs) have to be estimated separately and they are considered as changing the scope of a project.
